Experience
Mitchell Langsner is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and has been awarded membership by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accounts. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College - City University of New York. He has strong technical qualifications and an extensive background in tax, accounting and finance. He has long standing experience in rendering accounting & tax services, financial statement review and analysis, cash flow management and projection, general business consulting, business formation, and compliance. His experience also includes client representation before various governmental agencies and taxing authorities.
Mitchell merged his tax and financial accounting practice with Tarlow & Co. CPA’s in July 2008. His practice is comprised of a diverse client base across a wide variety of industries, including Professional Service Firms such as attorneys, physicians and architects; The Arts and Entertainment Field including art galleries and dealers in fine art and antiques, film production companies, directors, actors & actresses and public speakers; High Net Worth Families and matters relating to closely held businesses, estates and trusts; Not for Profit Private Foundations; Real Estate; Print and Publishing; Restaurants; Import Companies; Retail Establishments; among others. Mitchell has also serviced foreign based clients with interests in the US.
His public accounting experience dates back to 1982 when he started his career with Coopers & Lybrand. Mitchell’s hands-on approach allows him to deliver unwavering dedication and commitment to client services.
